GET STARTED↗OUR APPROACH
Medical teams shouldn’t have to spend unnecessary time navigating prior authorization for care they have already determined their patients need. Cozad Medical Ops provides dedicated prior authorization support designed not only to significantly reduce the administrative burden on medical teams—whose priority should be their patients—but also to accelerate the process, reduce avoidable denials and delays, and help providers and patients move forward with prescribed care.
Behind every prior authorization is a real person needing care—with a medical team working hard to provide it.
PRACTICES WE SUPPORT
Cozad Medical Ops provides flexible, scalable prior authorization services designed around each practice’s unique workflow, patient volume, specialty care, appeal volume, and operational needs.

Specialist-led support enhanced by AI-powered technology to identify missing documentation, flag incomplete or inconsistent information, and strengthen resubmissions and appeals.
This advanced, specialized prior authorization company started the way many powerful companies do: by experiencing a system as a consumer and recognizing a gap that could make the process more efficient for both patients and medical teams.
I was an everyday patient seeking prescribed care and medication following a diagnosis. Despite completing the step therapy required by my insurance plan, the authorization process took six months. I found myself coordinating between my medical provider and insurer—tracking down contact information, fax numbers, documentation, and repeatedly following up to keep the process moving, time and time again. Ultimately, the authorization was denied, appealed, and denied again despite all required documentation being provided, leaving me with a significant bill for medication I needed then and continue to need today.
During those same six months, another diagnosis required a second prior authorization—this time for urgent, medically necessary specialized treatment. I was given a three-month timeline before I could begin treatment, with prior authorization being the largest hurdle. Knowing the clock was ticking, I contacted several locations and essentially coordinated the process myself—making calls, obtaining fax information, connecting the teams involved, and following up. What began as a three-month timeline became three days before I was able to begin treatment.
Those experiences made me think on a deeper, systemic level about the current prior authorization system and what could drastically improve it. I saw an operational gap—and an opportunity to combine the expertise of prior authorization specialists with advanced AI-powered technology, stronger coordination, and persistent follow-up to create a faster, more efficient process.
As for my career and background, it is an unusually unique blend of experiences that has made me as resilient as I am today—a diverse background that taught me to challenge conventional paths, break down barriers, and seek opportunities to make an impactful difference.
I hold an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice, and my professional background includes working as an HR Onboarding Coordinator, a Total Loss Claims Adjuster, a Notary Signing Agent—along with traveling the world for over a decade as a Professional Monster Truck Driver.
But when I found myself on the patient side of prior authorization, none of those credentials or titles mattered. I was simply a human being—just like we all are—dealing with a health issue and waiting for the care I'd been prescribed, while gaps in the administrative process dictated and delayed when I received that care.
Cozad Medical Ops was created to help close those gaps. While we cannot promise specific authorization timelines or guarantee every authorization will be immediately approved, we can promise to make the process more efficient.
My story is only one of millions of patients across America. Our long-term goal is simple: to work quietly in the background while patients’ access to care remains the frontline priority.
THE DIFFERENTIATOR
Prior authorization is more than submitting paperwork. Timing, accuracy, complete documentation, correct information, required forms, and the right workflow can determine whether a PA moves efficiently or encounters avoidable delays.
Behind every authorization is a patient waiting for care—and a medical team trying to provide it.
Information synthesis, requirements organization, early gap identification, and workflow consistency.
Human review, payer knowledge, communication, judgment, and accountable follow-through.
Join our advanced ecosystem and let us accelerate your prior authorization operations to the next level.
